Russell Bradberry is the Principal Architect at SimpleReach, where he is responsible for architecting and building out highly scalable ad serving solutions.
Russ began his career in the US Navy where he managed and maintained “Ships Self Defense System” (SSDS), a highly advanced defense weapons system. He has several awards and commendations for his work in the field, as well as for managing the million-dollar per year budget for the system.
Honorably discharged from the military, Russ went on to apply his skills as a consumer product architect for eJungle Corporation, an enterprise level web development firm. While at eJungle, he quickly became an expert in building out intuitive eCommerce, business intelligence, and analytics systems for national brands such as Jenny Craig, The Independent Film and Television Alliance (IFTA) and Jorge Cruise.
Russ then made the move from San Diego to New York after being sought out to join a fast growing ad tech startup as their lead engineer. While working for MonkeyBroker, he quickly became adept at building massive scale solutions that can handle the vast requirements of ad serving.
With his new found expertise, Russ went on to join SimpleReach where he has architected and helped put into market several solutions including a real time bidding server, rich media ad serving solutions, a content recommendation system and most recently a real time social analytics platform.
In his off time Russ helps with the technology efforts of Playsmint LLC, a company that supports military transition and veteran employment efforts for non profit organizations, co-organizes the New York Node.JS meetup, and continually pursues his passion as an amazing home chef.
